ISO os a setting for your cameras sensitivity to light.
ISO adjust the sensors in the camera that detects n image.
when shooting with fast shutter speed you will have to increase ISO
when shooting at night you will have to increase the ISO for the sensor to pick up more light.
Rule of Thumb:
us low ISO when there's a lot of light.
