Aperture, ISO, Shutter Speed Notes

fundamentals of aperture

aperture

the bigger the number the f number smaller the aperture.
the smaller the f number the bigger the opening.
the bigger the aperture the more shallow depth field come or background
the smaller the opening the sharper the focus the background
Aperture controls the amount of depth of field

shutter is like curtain that opens and closes
to stop the motion of somebody walking the minimum is 1/150
to stop the motion of somebody running the minimum would be 2/250

shutter speed control the motion blur

ISO

ISO os a setting for your cameras sensitivity to light.
ISO adjust the sensors in the camera that detects n image.
when shooting with fast shutter speed you will have to increase ISO
when shooting at night you will have to increase the ISO for the sensor to pick up more light.

Rule of Thumb:
us low ISO when there's a lot of light.
